Welcome to my collection of digital paintings, animations, and more!
As a BFA in Digital Arts student at Bowling Green State University, I created a series of digital paintings and an installation for my BFA Thesis Celebrating Womanhood. With this body of work, I seek to address and uplift the importance of women supporting women. This means celebrating what it means to be a woman and to align with femininity in a community. These connections are a part of all the beautiful ways that women love and support each other as friends, mothers, leaders, lovers, and more.
To do so, I started by sending out a survey to women with questions about womanhood. Most of the works reference these responses, and the display allowed visitors to add their stories as well.

Let me Cry
Do you have a favorite moment of being loved by a woman?
"Recently a friend was having a bad mental health day and I was having an emotional breakdown so we got ice cream, watched the sunset, and cried with each other. We knew that the other person couldn’t “fix” the problem, we just wanted someone to listen and hold us while we cried. We both felt safe to be vulnerable with each other. And I think we both got the courage to know life is still beautiful and we’ll be okay."
Procreate
To explore textures and light, I created this wetland landscape digital painting featuring wildlife and nature. While the painting started as a lower contrast, more Impressionistic piece, I enjoyed letting changes occur as I tried different ways to improve the painting.
In Summer 2023, I had the opportunity to study art in Japan through BGSU.
Whilst there, I was struck by gorgeous pockets of flourishing green and worship even in urban areas, so I drew this thinking of still respite in busy Japanese life and their respect for tradition, nature, and quietness.
Using 13 Photoshop digital paintings of various lengths, I animated a looping, moving painting that conveys the effect of depth using parallax.
What happens when a fish is out of water? This short animation comprised of 400 drawings explores the limitless bounds of animation.
This timelapse illustrates my approach to my digital paintings using traditional painting techniques. With my paintings, I block in forms to establish values, space, and colors first and foremost.
This is a 2D animation I made by animating Photoshop-drawn digital painting layers. I created this animation as a background for my 3D animated short Paper Heart. In the scene, a paper airplane stares at the plane taking off in the distance and feels inspired to fly. I utilized what I learned from Environment Parallax Animation to animate this effect.
